Parks & Recreational Projects
Harrison County Recreational Facility, D’Iberville, MS
SE was tasked to provide engineering design, surveying, and construction management services for the Harrison County Recreational Facility. The facility consisted of four baseball fields, a football/soccer field, eight tennis courts, basketball court, two concession stands with pavilion, sports lighting, walking track, storage building, and asphalt parking lot.
Town Center Development, Gautier, MS
The scope of work for this project consists of the design of a three-phase design concept, and ultimate construction of the City of Gautier’s Town Center. The engineering duties consist of the design of various roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, drainage, and water and sewer utilities. Furthermore, SE was required to design various amenities such as an amphitheater, pickleball courts, concessions stands, basketball courts, a football field, pavilion, and fire pits.
Tchoutacabouffa Paddling Trail and Nature Park, D’Iberville, MS
SE performed engineering design, surveying, and construction management services for the design and construction of a new ADA accessible kayak floating dock; modification and construction of a new pier, public pavilion, fish cleaning station; new bulkhead; drainage; parking area improvements and signage
Popps Ferry Causeway Park, Biloxi, MS
The project consisted of construction of several metal and wood structures including an open-air interpretive center, bait shop/kayak launch/concession facility, pavilions, and multiple covered fishing piers. Other amenities that were also added include: nature trails, waterfront boardwalks, waterside railed walkways, marsh overwalks, benches, grills, picnic tables and trash receptacles. The scope of work also inculded boat ramps, roadway rehabilitation, trailer parking, lighting, shoreline stabilization, utilities, signage and landscaping.
