Popps Ferry Causeway Park,  Biloxi, MS

The project consisted of construction of several metal and wood structures including an open-air interpretive center, bait shop/kayak launch/concession facility, pavilions, and multiple covered fishing piers.  Other amenities that were also added include: nature trails, waterfront boardwalks, waterside railed walkways, marsh overwalks, benches, grills, picnic tables and trash receptacles. The scope of work also inculded boat ramps, roadway rehabilitation, trailer parking, lighting, shoreline stabilization, utilities, signage and landscaping.

Tchoutacabouffa Paddling Trail and Nature Park, D'Iberville, MS

SE performed engineering design, surveying, and construction management services for the design and construction of a new ADA accessible kayak floating dock; modification and construction of a new pier, public pavilion, fish cleaning station; new bulkhead; drainage; parking area improvements and signage.

Fountain Park Improvements and Restoration, D’Iberville, MS

SE performed engineering design, surveying, and construction management services for the City of D’Iberville.  This project included the design of a two-story education pavilion, 700 linear feet of vinyl bulkhead, boardwalks, three fishing piers, gazebo, benches, fish station, picnic area, landscaping, lighting, plumbing and restrooms. A separate project consisted of extending the bulkhead, boardwalks, piers, and shoreline protection and enhancements.  We also did reconstruction to the entire facility after several storms damaged the improvements that were made.

Octavia Boat Launch Improvements, Jackson County, MS

SE was hired by the Jackson County Board of Supervisors to design and construct improvements to the Octavia Boat Launch.  This project consisted of the installation of a concrete boat ramp; construction of a new pier, gazebo, and lighting; landscaping; dredging of the bayou; and installation of an asphalt parking area.

Brittany Avenue Boat Launch Improvements, Jackson County, MS

SE to took the lead on designing improvements for the Brittany Avenue Boat Launch.  This project included installation of a boat ramp; modification to the existing piers; construction of a new pier, gazebo, fish cleaning station with water, and a bulkhead; and improvements on the drainage and parking area. 

Fountain Beach Public Access, D’Iberville, MS

SE was hired by the City of D’Iberville to make improvements to Fountain Park.  The scope of work consisted of extending the bulkhead, boardwalk and piers, and included shoreline protection and enhancements.

Hurricane Katrina Restoration I-110 Marina, D’Iberville, MS

HK I-110 Marina Boat Ramp Restoration
SE was hired by the City of D’Iberville to restore the I-110 Marina after it took damage from Hurricane Katrina.  This project included construction and repair of 5,560 square feet of pier structure, replacement of electric conduit boxes, power, and pedestals, and restoration of two boat ramps and boardwalks.  

 Ocean Springs Kayak Launch, Ocean Springs, MS

SE was tasked with permorming design and construction management services.  This project consisted of constructing a new floating dock which serves as a combination courtesy and ADA accessible kayak launch.  Provisions were made for easy removal in the event of an approaching storm.  This project  was funded by the Coastal Impact Assistance Program.
