Seymour Engineering has taken on several marine projects along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, some of which are shown below.
Ocean Springs Harbor Improvements

Seymour Engineering designed and implemented improvements on the Ocean Springs Harbor. Design and construction consisted of 88,000 square feet of vinyl and FRP Bulkhead with Helical tieback; replacing existing wood and aluminum bulkhead; replacing boardwalk, slip pilings, electrical panels, power pedestals, plumbing, pump-out station, and channel markers; upgraded lighting; drainage modifications; and modifications and repaving of curb and gutters, asphalt roads and parking lots. This project was completed in 2013 and cost just over $4.1 million.
Octavia Boat Launch Improvements
Jackson County, MS

Seymour Engineering was hired by the Jackson County Board of Supervisors to design and construct improvements to the Octavia Boat Launch for the Jackson County Board of Supervisors . This project consisted of installation of a concrete boat ramp; construction of a new pier, gazebo, and lighting; landscaping; dredging of the bayou; and installation of an asphalt parking area. It was completed in 2013 and cost nearly $350,000.
Brittany Avenue Boat Launch Improvements

The Jackson County Board of Supervisors hired Seymour Engineering to take the lead on designing improvements for the Brittany Avenue Boat Launch. This project included installation of a boat ramp; modification to the existing piers; construction of a new pier, gazebo, fish cleaning station with water, and a bulkhead; and improvements on the drainage and parking area. It was completed in 2011 and cost just over $550,000.
Fountain Beach Public Access

Seymour Engineering was hired by the City of D’Iberville to add on to Fountain Park. The work consisted of extending the bulkhead, boardwalk southwardly, and piers and included shoreline protection and enhancements. This project was completed in 2014 and cost $30,000.
Hurricane Katrina Restoration of Fountain Park

The City of D’Iberville hired Seymour Engineering to restore fountain park from damages caused by the hurricane. This project included construction and repair of the two story open air pavilion, boardwalks, fishing piers, benches and fish station, picnic area, lighting, plumbing, and restrooms. This project was completed in 2007 with a final construction cost of a little under $1.3 million and funded by FEMA.
Hurricane Katrina Restoration I-110 Marina

Seymour Engineering was hired by the City of D’Iberville to restore the I-110 Marina after it took damage from Hurricane Katrina. This project included construction and repair of 5,560 square feet of pier structure, replacement of electric conduit boxes, power, and pedestals, and restoration of two boat ramps and boardwalks. It was completed in 2007 and cost just over $1.2 million.
